Charly is a commune with 249 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Amand-Montrond and is part of the canton of La Guerche-sur-l'Aubois (until 2015: canton of Nérondes ). The inhabitants are called Charliacois .
geography
Charly is about three kilometers east-southeast of Bourges . Charly is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cornusse in the north and north-west, Ourouer-les-Bourdelins in the north and east, Vereaux and Sagonne in the south-east, Blet in the south and west, and Lugny-Bourbonnais in the north-west.
