Dumbrava (Hungarian: Igazfalva ) is a municipality in Timiș County , in the Banat region , in southwestern Romania . The villages of Răchita and Bucovăț also belong to the Dumbrava municipality .
Geographical location
Dumbrava is located in the east of Timiș County, 97 kilometers from the district capital Timișoara and 27 kilometers from Lugoj , on the DN6 Timișoara-Lugoj national road .

history
Dumbrava was settled with Hungarians from the Szeged area in 1893 . The Hungarians called the place Igazfalva . Already in the Middle Ages there were two settlements with the names Also Igazfalwa and Felso Igazfalwa .
After the Peace of Passarowitz (1718), when the Banat became a Habsburg crown domain , Igazfalva was part of the Temescher Banat .
On June 4, 1920, the Banat was divided into three parts as a result of the Treaty of Trianon . The largest, eastern part, to which Igazfalva also belongs, fell to the Kingdom of Romania . Since then, Dumbrava has been the official name of the place.
