End-of-year Rugby Union Internationals 2008

The End-of-Year Rugby Union Internationals 2008 was a series of international rugby union matches that ran from November 1st to December 3rd .

On December 3rd, the first rugby union match took place at the new Wembley Stadium , where Australia played against the Barbarians . New Zealand successfully completed a Grand Slam Tour for the third time . On November 1st, the first Bledisloe Cup match abroad took place between Australia and New Zealand in Hong Kong .
