The judicial district comprised the southern part of the political district of Murau and was added to the judicial district of Murau in 2002 .

history

The judicial district of Murau was created as the “judicial district of Neumarkt” by a proclamation made by the state court introduction commission in 1849 and originally comprised the 19 communities of Adendorf (now Mariahof ), Dürnstein , Feßnach , Jakobsberg , Kulm , Lind , Lorenzen , Marein , Margarethen , Mülln , Neumarkt , Perchau , Scheifling , St. Blasen , St. Georgen , St. Lambrecht , St. Veit , Teufenbach and Zeitschach .

In the course of the separation of the political from the judicial administration from 1868, the judicial district of Neumarkt together with the judicial districts of Murau and Oberwölz formed the district of Murau .

The area of ​​the judicial district remained almost unchanged during the period of its existence. As a result of the reorganization of the judicial districts in 2002, the judicial district of Neumarkt in Styria was dissolved on July 1, 2002 and the area was assigned to the judicial district of Murau.
