Heilbronn is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

In the village the Wüstenbach flows together with the Aichabach to form the Schönbach, a left tributary of the Sulzach . The Legerbach flows into the village as the left tributary of the Aichabach. In the east lies the Götzen corridor, in the north the Mühlfeld. The state road 2222 leading to Thürnhofen (2.5 km east) or to Feuchtwangen to B 25 (2.6 km west). Communal roads lead to Zumberg (1 km northeast) and past the Herbstmühle to Rißmannschallbach (1.5 km north).

history

The place was called "Heyligbronn" or "Heiligenbronn" in the 14th century. In 1395 Feuchtwangen Monastery bought the tithe of two estates.

Heilbronn was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 18 properties with 19 teams and 1 communal shepherd's house. The village and township government had the pin stewardship Feuchtwangen held. Were landlords

Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . In 1805 23 buildings burned down in the village.

In 1806 Heilbronn came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . With the municipality edict which was tax district Heilbronn formed when the places Bernau , Grove Mill , Herbstmühle , Kopp Schallbach , Krapfenau , Leichsenhof , Lichtenau , deleting mill , Lotterhof , Metzlesberg , Upper Maple , Upper Lotter mill , Sankt Ulrich , Fine mill , under Maple , sub Lotter mill , Volkert Weiler and Zumberg included . A little later, the rural community Heilbronn was formed, to which the places Herbstmühle, Lichtenau, Metzlesberg, Rißmannschallbach , Wüstenweiler and Zumberg belonged. It was subject to the Feuchtwangen Regional Court in terms of administration and jurisdiction . The municipality had an area of ​​9.267 km². In 1923 a school was founded in Heilbronn, but it has since been closed. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Heilbronn was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
