Karol Estelle Kennedy , married. Kucher (born February 14, 1932 in Shelton , Washington , † June 25, 2004 in Seattle ) was an American figure skater who started in pair skating .

Together with her brother Peter , she was five times in a row US champion in pair skating from 1948 to 1952 . Karol and Peter Kennedy, known as "The Kennedy Kids", competed in world championships from 1947 to 1952 . In 1947 , 1949 , 1951 and 1952 they became vice world champions and in 1950 in London world champions. This was the USA's first pair skating world title.

The Kennedys played two Olympic Games . In 1948 in St. Moritz they finished sixth despite Karol's back injury and in 1952 in Oslo they won the silver medal behind Ria and Paul Falk .
