Kowjahy ( Ukrainian Ков'яги ; Russian Ковяги Kowjagi ) is an urban-type settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with around 3,100 inhabitants (2015).

The village received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1968 and is the administrative center of the 78.81 km² settlement council of the same name within the Walky district .

Kowjahy is located on the regional road P-22 10 km northwest of the district center Walky and 56 km west of Kharkiv and has a train station on the Kharkiv – Poltava railway .

The settlement Rats community with a total of about 3700 residents, nor the villages include zhuravli ( Журавлі ) with about 40 population, Rossochiwka ( Розсохівка ) with about 10 population, Trochymiwka ( Трохимівка ) with about 60 inhabitants and Chalymoniwka ( Халимонівка ) with about 30 Residents.
