Novopokrowka (Ukrainian and Russian Новопокровка ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 4,800 inhabitants (2015).

The village, founded in 1818, received urban-type settlement status in 1938 and has a train station on the Kharkiv - Kupyansk railway line .

Novopokrowka is located on the left bank of the Udy, 12 km west of the Chuhuiv district center and 35 km southeast of the Kharkiv oblast center and is the administrative center of the settlement council of the same name in the Chuhujiw district .

The settlement Tschapajewa ( Чапаєва ⊙ ) with about 100 inhabitants belongs to the settlement council municipality with an area of ​​32,946 km² .
