Utkivka

Utkivka ( Ukrainian Утківка ; Russian Утковка Utkowka ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with around 1200 inhabitants (2019).

Utkivka has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1957 and is the administrative center of the settlement council of the same name in the southwest of Kharkiv Raion . The municipality, which has an area of 27.62 square kilometers, yet the villages are Werchnja Oserjana ( Верхня Озеряна ) with about 230 inhabitants, Krynychky ( Кринички ) with about 270 inhabitants, Leljuky ( Лелюки ) with about 20 inhabitants and Nyschnja Oserjana ( Нижня Озеряна ) with about 160 inhabitants.

The village is located on the left bank of the Mscha ( Мжа ), a 77 km long tributary of the Siversky Donets on the city limits to Merefa , 34 km southwest of the city center of Kharkiv . The road M 18 / E 105 and the territorial road T – 21–07 run past Utkiwka .
