Satschepyliwka ( Ukrainian Зачепилівка ; Russian Зачепиловка Satschepilowka ) is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine and the administrative center of the raion of the same name in the southwest of Kharkiv Oblast with about 3,600 inhabitants (2016).

geography

Satschepyliwka is located on the left bank of the Berestowa River (Ukrainian Берестова ) 130 km southwest of the Kharkiv Oblast center . The city has a train station on the Krasnohrad - Novomoskovsk railway line .

The municipality also includes the villages Nahirne (Ukrainian Нагірне ) with 900 inhabitants and Skaloniwka (Ukrainian Скалонівка ) with 300 inhabitants.

Founded in the middle of the 18th century, the place received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1968.
