Kochetok ( Ukrainian and Russian Кочеток ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with around 3,100 inhabitants (2015).

The village, founded in 1641, received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938 and is the only village of the 23.41 km² settlement council of the same name within the Chuhujiw district .

Kochetok is located on the bank of the Siversky Donets and on the territorial road T-21-11 5 km north of the Rajon center Chuhujiw and 44 km southeast of Kharkiv .
