Prykolotne ( Ukrainian Приколотне ; Russian Приколотное Prikolotnoye ) is an urban-type settlement in northeastern Ukraine with about 2,600 inhabitants.
geography
The village is located on the river Chotimlja ( Хотімля ) in Kharkiv Oblast in Velykyj Burluk Raion , about 12 kilometers north of the Rajons capital Velykyj Burluk and 82 kilometers east of the Oblast capital Kharkiv . The border with Russia runs about 20 kilometers northeast, to the west is the Prykolotne reservoir .
From an administrative point of view, Prykolotne forms together with the village of Hohyne ( Гогине ) the settlement council of the same name. The Sumy – Horliwka railway runs through the village .
history
The place was founded in 1898 as a station settlement Sadonska ( Задонська ), renamed Prikolotne in 1901 and appointed an urban-type settlement in 1957.
