Peresitschne

Peresitschne ( Ukrainian Пересічне ; Russian Пересечное Peresechnoye ) is an urban-type settlement in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 7,000 inhabitants (2019).

The village was founded in 1650, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1938 and is the center of the settlement council of the same name within the Derhatschi district . The municipality also includes the villages of Berezivske ( Березівське ⊙ ) with about 1050 inhabitants and Kurortne ( Курортне ⊙ ) with about 250 inhabitants.

Between 1958 and 2013 the village was called Peresitschna ( Пересічна ).

Peresitschne is located on the left bank of the Udy and on the regional road P-46 about 23 km southwest of the district center Derhatschi and 22 km west of the Oblast center Kharkiv .
