Prudyanka

Prudjanka ( Ukrainian and Russian Прудянка ) is an urban-type settlement in the north of the Ukrainian Kharkiv Oblast with about 1,800 inhabitants (2019).

The village was founded in 1801, has had the status of an urban-type settlement since 1938 and is the center of the 20.73 km² settlement council of the same name within the Derhatschi Rajon . The municipality also includes the villages of Zupivka ( Цупівка ⊙ ) with about 1000 inhabitants and Shapovaliwka ( Шаповалівка ⊙ ) with about 100 inhabitants.

Prudjanka is north of Slatyne on the left bank of the Lopan , a 96 km long tributary of the Udy and on the territorial road T-21-17 about 15 km north of the Rajonzentrum Derhatschi and about 30 km north of the Oblast center Kharkiv .
