The 4 x 400 meters relay men in the 2012 European Athletics Championships was born on 30 June and 1 July 2012 at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys the city of Helsinki held.

Belgium became European champions with Antoine Gillet , Jonathan Borlée ( final ), Jente Bouckaert and Kevin Borlée as well as Nils Duerinck, who was also used in the run-up . Second place went to Great Britain with Nigel Levine , Conrad Williams , Robert Tobin ( final ) and Richard Buck ( final ) as well as Luke Lennon-Ford and Michael Bingham, who were also used in the preliminary run . Bronze went to Germany in the line-up of Jonas Plass , Kamghe Gaba , Eric Krüger ( final ) and Thomas Schneider as well as Niklas Zender, who was also used in the run-up .

The runners only used in the run-up were given corresponding precious metal.
