Chemnitz – Aue – Adorf railway line, Schönheide – Muldenberg section

The railway line was opened in 1875 and interrupted in 1975 by the construction of the Eibenstock dam between Wolfsgrün and Schönheide Ost. Operation on the Schönheide – Muldenberg section was discontinued in 1994. A museum railway is only operated on the section from Schönheide-Süd to Hammerbrücke . This list contains all material components and individual features which, in terms of monument conservation, belong to the material component of this section of the railway line. The historical significance of the individual monuments on this route results from the monument text of the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments in Saxony : "Significant monument of the Saxon railway history, technical and regional-historical significant section with local historical value." The list is structured according to the local location on the route from Schönheide to Muldenberg .
