List of stumbling blocks in Forchheim
This list of stumbling blocks in Forchheim contains the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Forchheim as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Forchheim.
The 10 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm large concrete blocks with brass plaques are embedded in the sidewalk in front of the houses where the victims were once at home. The inscription on the plaque gives information about their name, age and fate. The stumbling blocks are intended to counteract the oblivion of the victims of the National Socialist tyranny.
The first four stumbling blocks in Forchheim were laid by Gunter Demnig personally in February 2018. In July 2019 he laid four more stones.
