List of stumbling blocks in Kronach

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This list of stumbling blocks in Kronach contains the stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in the Upper Franconian town of Kronach as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Kronach.

A brass plaque is anchored on the top of the concrete cuboid with an edge length of ten centimeters, which provides information about the names, year of birth and fate of the people who are to be remembered. The stones are embedded in the sidewalk in front of the former homes of the victims of the National Socialist tyranny. The first 16 stumbling blocks were laid on September 17, 2017, and a further nine stones followed on July 18, 2018.
