Maillé is a French municipality with 668 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Maillé belongs to the arrondissement of Poitiers and the canton of Vouneuil-sous-Biard (until 2015: canton of Vouillé ). The inhabitants are called Mailléens .

Maillé is about 19 kilometers west-northwest of Poitiers . Maillé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vouzailles in the north, Champigny en Rochereau in the northeast, Frozes in the east and southeast, Chiré-en-Montreuil in the southeast, Ayron in the south and southwest and Cherves in the west and northwest.
