Rugby Union European Championship 2018/19

The Rugby Union European Championship 2018/19 (officially Rugby Europe International Championships 2018/19 ) is the 45th edition of this competition and the third under the new name. 35 national teams in five divisions take part in the European championship in the league system .

Georgia became European champion and won its 11th title.

mode

The teams are divided into five divisions and play against each opponent once over a year. Six teams each play in the Rugby Europe Championship and Rugby Europe Trophy , the Rugby Europe Conference 1 and 2 are also divided into north and south seasons, each of which accommodates five teams. There are three teams in the division called Rugby Europe Development .

The point system used in all divisions is as follows:

• 4 points if you win
• 2 points if there is a tie
• 0 points if you lose
• 1 bonus point if a team scores at least three attempts more than the opponent in a game
• 1 bonus point for a loss with a difference of seven or less points
