This left Skalka in the same year in the course of an exchange of goods to the diocese of Olomouc . Subsequently, Skalka was handed over to various owners as an episcopal fief. Later Skalka became subordinate to the Buchlov rule, and was under the Lowczowe prawo until 1748. Until the middle of the 19th century, Skalka always remained part of Buchlov.

After the abolition of patrimonial Skalka formed from 1850 a community in the district administration Gaya . In 1957, the municipal office was built in place of the old municipal warehouse, which was later expanded to include the addition of a syringe house. After the Okres Kyjov was abolished, Skalka was assigned to the Okres Hodonín in 1960. As of December 31, 2005, Skalka had 178 inhabitants.
