Sloboschanske ( Ukrainian Слобожанське ; Russian Слобожанское Slobozhanskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with about 2,700 inhabitants (2015).
The village was founded in 1899 as Ziglewrowka-Schljachowoje (Russian Циглевровка-Шляховое) and renamed Tschapajewe (Чапаєве) in 1925 . The village received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1957 and is the administrative center of the 67.1 km² settlement council of the same name within the Kehychivka district . On February 4, 2016, the urban-type settlement was renamed Sloboschanske .
Sloboschanske is located on the territorial road T – 21–20 16 km northeast of the Rajonzentrum Kehytschiwka and about 100 km south of Kharkiv .
The settlement council municipality with a total of about 4000 inhabitants also includes the villages Komunarske ( Комунарське ⊙ ) with about 580 inhabitants and Ulyanivka ( Улянівка ⊙ ) with about 640 inhabitants.
