Sri Lankan national cricket team against Pakistan in the 2011-12 season
The game series of the Sri Lankan national cricket team against Pakistan in the season 2011/12 took place from October 18 to November 25, 2011 in the United Arab Emirates . The international cricket tour was part of the 2011/12 international cricket season and included three test matches , five ODIs and one Twenty20 . Pakistan won the Test Series 1–0, the ODI Series 4–1 and the Twenty20.
prehistory
This was the first tour between the two teams, in which Pakistan acted as the home team, after the tour 2008/2009 , which had to be canceled due to the attacks on the Sri Lankan team . As a result, this tour with the United Arab Emirates was held at a neutral location. For both teams it was the first tour of the season and thus preparation for the ICC World Twenty20 2012 .
