This discography is an overview of the musical works of the American rapper The Notorious BIG. It comprises four studio albums , two compilation albums , four collaboration albums as well as 27 singles and 21 music videos . According to record awards, the rapper has sold over 29.1 million records worldwide, including more than 25 million in the United States alone. The most successful recordings from The Notorious BIG are his debut album to Ready to that sold in the United States more than six million times, and the double album Life After Death , which in the US for more than 5.5 million copies sold with eleven times platinum award has been. All records after the rapper's death on March 9, 1997 were published posthumously .
