University of Paris-Nord
The University of Sorbonne Paris-Nord or University of Paris XIII ( French : Université Paris 13 Nord , UP13) is one of the Paris universities that took over from the Sorbonne in 1970 . It is a comprehensive university with three campuses in the north of the French capital: Villetaneuse , Saint-Denis and Bobigny .
In the 2004/05 academic year, 21,039 students were enrolled at the university.
Together with the University of Paris VIII , the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) and a few other institutions, it forms the so-called science and technology pole north- north-east Île-de-France ( Pôle scientifique et technologique nord nord-est francilien )
