33 ⅓ (Thirty-Three and a Third) is the name of a series of books, each in which a different author deals with an important music album . Many of the authors are also musicians themselves. The title of each volume corresponds to the album it is about. The series of 139 works (as of July 2019) is published by the publisher Continuum. By October 2010, Kim Cooper's book on Neutral Milk Hotels' album In the Airplane Over the Sea was the best selling book .

Since the end of 2008, several works have also been published as audio books. Exile on Main St. , Doolittle and Highway 61 Revisited was published in Spanish translation in October 2010.
