The Rhein-Neckar constituency (2005: constituency 278, since 2009: constituency 277) is a federal constituency in Baden-Württemberg . It covers the middle and eastern part of the Rhein-Neckar district with the communities Angelbachtal , Bammental , Dielheim , Eberbach , Epfenbach , Eschelbronn , Gaiberg , Heddesbach , Heiligkreuzsteinach , Helmstadt-Bargen , Leimen , Lobbach , Malsch , Mauer , Meckesheim , Mühlhausen , Neckarbischofsheim , Neckargemünd , Neidenstein , Nussloch , Rauenberg , Reichartshausen , Sandhausen , St. Leon-Rot , Schönau , Schönbrunn , Sinsheim , Spechbach , Waibstadt , Walldorf , Wiesenbach , Wiesloch , Wilhelmsfeld and Zuzenhausen . From 1949 to 1965 the constituency was called Sinsheim and from 1965 to 1980 the name Heidelberg-Land - Sinsheim . So far, the constituency has always been won by the direct candidates of the CDU .

In the 2013 federal election, 197,424 residents were eligible to vote, compared to 195,971 in 2009.
