Configni is an Italian commune in the province of Rieti in the Lazio region with 568 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is 74 km north of Rome and 32 km east of Rieti .

geography

Configni is located in the Sabine Mountains on the border with Umbria . It is a member of the Comunità Montana Sabina .

The districts of Configni are Lugnola, Colli di Lugnola and Colli di Configni.

The neighboring towns are Calvi dell'Umbria ( TR ), Cottanello , Stroncone (TR) and Vacone .
