Collevecchio is an Italian commune in the province of Rieti in the Lazio region with 1519 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located 64 km north of Rome and 49 km southwest of Rieti .

geography

Collevecchio is on the edge of the Sabine Mountains above the Tiber valley , which forms the western border of the municipality. The districts are Cicignano and Poggio Sommavilla.

The neighboring towns are Civita Castellana ( VT ), Magliano Sabina , Montebuono , Ponzano Romano ( RM ), Stimigliano , Tarano .
