Coulonces is about 14 kilometers northeast of the city center of Argentan . Coulonces is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fontaine-les-Bassets in the north, Trun in the north and northeast, Tournai-sur-Dive in the east and southeast, Villedieu-lès-Bailleul in the south, Bailleul in the south and southwest and Guêprei in the west.
