Fago is a small municipality in the province of Huesca west of Ansó in the far northwest of the autonomous region of Aragón in Spain . It is located in the Comarca Jacetania on the border with Navarre in the valley of the Río Majones. On January 1, 2019, Fago, which is considered a typical Pyrenean settlement, had 22 inhabitants.

Like the neighboring Ansó, Fago was familiar with a predominantly female labor emigration ("emigración golondrina") in the manufacture of espadrilles in the border communities of France such as Mauléon-Licharre .

Attractions
