The First Division 2018/19 ( Greek: Παγκύπριο Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας ), also Cyta Championship for sponsorship reasons, was the 80th season of the top division of the Republic of Cyprus in men's football . It started on August 25, 2018 and ended on May 18, 2019.

In the first round of the season, the 12 clubs played for the placements, the result of which in the second half of the season formed the basis for a division of the teams into two groups of six teams each.

The six best-placed clubs reached the championship round, the teams in places seven to twelve played against relegation. In the individual groups, the number of points achieved in each case from the 22 games of the preliminary round was transferred, so that the respective second round could sometimes cause minor changes depending on the table situation.
