The Neckar, its most important tributaries and their most important tributaries from 20 km in length
Representation:
  • Upstream order
  • A body of water flows into that of the river courses listed above, the name of which begins above the indication of the confluence side ("right" / "left") of the flowing water.
  • Arrows are directed downstream and are in front of geographically upper parts of a previously mentioned river course.
  • If both partners at a confluence can be viewed as source rivers of a river "beginning" there, they are marked with '↑ re.' and '↑ li.' marked. As with normal estuaries, this refers to the river noted above, whose name extends over the side.
  • Waters of specifically less than 20 km are included if they are to be regarded as part of a longer watercourse.
  • Lengths after the slash refer to the officially defined course of the river in contrast to the traditional use of the name,
    or to the scientifically longest flow path in contrast to the officially defined river.
  • Where the flow path from a tributary and the section of its target water from its mouth to its mouth is longer than the target water itself, the distance between the mouth of the inflow from the source (s) or mouth of the target water is given.
