Blazon : “Divided by red and green by a silver oblique left bar; above a three-line silver ear, below a silver forest hook (Wolfangel). " | |
The reason for the coat of arms: The ear of wheat symbolizes agriculture, which used to be an important branch of the community, the Wolfsangel in green indicates Harschbach's share of the Märkerwald in the Urbach parish . The colors red and silver from the Isenburg coat of arms indicate that Harschbach belonged to the upper county of Wied , which was originally owned by Isenburg.
The coat of arms has been legally valid since June 11, 1981 based on a design by Ernst Zeiler, Raubach. |
