Huty ( Ukrainian Гути ; Russian Гуты Guty ) is an urban-type settlement in the northwest of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kharkiv with around 1,700 inhabitants (2018).
The village, founded in 1767, received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938 and is the administrative center of the 62.82 km² settlement council of the same name within the Bohoduchiw Rajon .
Huty lies on the left bank of the Merla ( Мерла ), a 116 km long, left tributary of the Vorskla 15 km west of the Rajon center Bohoduchiw and about 80 km northwest of Kharkiv .
The settlement council municipality with about 2700 inhabitants also includes the villages Perwuchynka ( Первухинка ⊙ ) with about 660 inhabitants and Perschotrawnewe ( Першотравневе ⊙ ) with about 340 inhabitants.
