Kramer , which on March 14, 1963 under the production direction of George Martin I'll Be on My Way in Abbey Road Studios recorded. The song was released on April 26 as the B-side of the single Do You Want to Know a Secret , which peaked at number two on the UK charts. Do You Want to Know a Secret comes from the Beatles album Please Please Me and is also a Lennon / McCartney composition.
I'll Be on My Way was the first Lennon / McCartney composition the Beatles gave to another artist, with Brian Epstein also being the manager of Billy J. Kramer. Kramer received three other compositions by John Lennon and Paul McCartney that the Beatles did not release: Bad to Me , I'll Keep You Satisfied, and From a Window .
