Kenneth Brylle Larsen (born May 22, 1959 in Copenhagen ) is a former Danish football player who also has Belgian citizenship.
Career as a player
Brylle started his career in 1977 at Hvidovre IF . After a year he moved on to Vejle BK , 1979 in the 1st division for RSC Anderlecht . There he won the Belgian championship (1981) and the UEFA Cup in 1983. Brylle played through in the first final against Benfica Lisbon and scored the winning goal in the 30th minute to make it 1-0. In the second final in Lisbon , he came on in the 78th minute for Erwin Vandenbergh . During his time in Belgium, he was called to the Danish selection for the 1984 European Championships in France . Brylle was used twice and scored one goal. Denmark were eliminated in the semifinals. Overall, he played 16 times for the Danish national team and scored two goals.
In that year 1984 he also moved to the Dutch Eredivisie for PSV Eindhoven , which he left after a year in the French Division 1 (now Ligue 1 ). Brylle signed with Olympique Marseille for a year . Then he went back to the Belgian First Division and signed a contract with Club Bruges . In 1986 he was awarded to CE Sabadell in Spain for a half season . He returned in the same year and stayed until 1989. During this time he won the Belgian championship once and the Belgian Supercup once . In 1989 he moved to Germinal Ekeren . After three years in Antwerp , he came to Lierse SK for one more season . Then he let his career end with the lower class club FC Knokke. Brylle ended his career in 1994.
Career as a trainer and scout
After the end of his active career, he was a coach at FC Knokke, KV Ostend , KV Eendracht Aalter, White Star Lauwe and SC Wielsbeke. From 2009 to 2010, Kenneth Brylle looked after the second division club Hvidovre IF in his native Denmark . In 2011 he returned to Belgium and became a scout and forward coach of Club Bruges.
