Kocbeře (German Rettendorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers northeast of Dvůr Králové nad Labem and belongs to the Okres Trutnov .

geography

The place is located in the valley of the Kocbeřský creek and its tributaries in the southern part of the Kingdom Forest . The Kamenný vrch (579 m) rises in the northeast .

Neighboring towns are Nové Záboří and Výšinka in the north, Přebytek, Brusnice and Hajnice in the Northeast, Nový Kohoutov, RABIS and Kohoutov the east, Ferdinandov, Grunt and choustníkovo hradiště the southeast, Fibich and Zboží in the south, Nová Ves and Dvur Kralove nad Labem in the southwest , Komárov in the west and Dolní Záboří and Záboří in the northwest.

history

The first mention of the place Koczberzye comes from the year 1415. After the Thirty Years War the name Reutendorff emerged , from which at the end of the 18th century Rettendorf became. The village of Neudorf was built around 1790 on the corridors of a desert sheep farm. In the years 1836 to 1839, a piece of forest northeast of the village was cleared and Neu Rettendorf was founded, which had belonged to Kingdom I municipality since the middle of the 19th century, while Neudorf has always belonged to Rettendorf or Kocbeře with the exception of one house.
