Hajnice (German Haindorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located ten kilometers south of Trutnov ( Trautenau ) and belongs to the Okres Trutnov . It was created in 1949 by merging the communities Německá Brusnice ( German Prausnitz ) and Kyje ( Kaile ).
geography
The town extends in a valley of the river Hajnický Potok on Kingdom forest in the Giant Mountains foothills. In the south rises the mountain Liščí hora ( 609 m nm ) and in the southwest of the Kamenný vrch ( 579 m nm ).
Neighboring towns are Střítež in the north, Studenec and Radeč in the northeast, Maršov u Úpice in the east, Nesytá and Mravenčí Domky in the southeast, Nový Kohoutov and Kohoutov in the south and Nové Kocbeře and Kocbeře in the southwest, Přebytek, Výšinka, Dom Tadeášový and Domky Žďár in the west.
history
The first mention of Hajnice comes from the year 1386. Brusnice, which is documented as early as 1007, is much older. The medieval salt route from Bohemia to the Silesian Duchy of Schweidnitz led through the village .
Since the colonization of the area during the reign of Přemysl Otakar II , Hajnice belonged to the Trutnov rule and became part of the Nachod rule under the Piccolomini in the 17th century . In 1620 Haindorf was called Flecken . On September 30, 1745, the Battle of Thrush took place near Thrush during the Second Silesian War . During the peasant uprising of 1775, the Kail judge Georg Hetfleisch belonged to a nine-member peasant gubernium under the leadership of Antonín Baron Nývlt Rychetský. After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the independent communities of Haindorf, Deutsch Prausnitz, Kaile, Nieder-Soor and Ober-Soor were established in 1850, while Weiberkränke formed the community of Kingdom I together with Neu Rettendorf, Neu Koken and Neu Söberle. From this point on, Haindorf was part of the judicial district of Trautenau .
From 1842 to 1852 the "Alte Jermerer Straße" was expanded.
On June 28, 1866 , one day after the Battle of Trautenau , fighting between Austrians and Prussians took place again in Thrush during the German War .
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Empire and belonged to the Trautenau district until 1945 .
The municipalities Německá Brusnice and Kyje were merged into one municipality Hajnice in 1949 and later merged with each other. It was named after the small settlement Hajnice (now U Liščí hory ) belonging to Německá Brusnice . In 1980 Horní Žďár ( Upper Thrush ) and Dolní Žďár ( Lower Thrush ) were incorporated; this made Hajnice the largest municipality in the Okres Trutnov .
Community structure
The municipality Hajnice consists of the districts Hajnice and Horní Žďár ( Obersoor ). Hajnice divided into six Katastraleinheiten Brusnice (Czech formerly Německá Brusnice , German German Prausnitz ), Dolni Zdar ( Niedersoor ), Hajnice, Horní Žďár, Kyje ( Kaile ) and Nesytá ( glutton ). In addition to the municipality are still the settlements Dubový Dvur ( Eichelsdorf ) Hajnička, Mravenčí Domky ( ants homes ), Olimberg ( Eulenburg ) Přebytek ( About flock ), Tadeášový Domky ( Thadäushäuser ), U Liščí Mountains ( Haindorf ) and Výšinka (Czech formerly Ženska Bida , German women sicknesses ).
