history
The first written mention of Liticze dates back to around 1530. It was owned by the noble family of Litický von Šonov , who lived on Alt-Náchod . During the reign of Jan the Elder Litický of Šonov, a new church was built in 1586. After the Thirty Years War, the place was settled by Germans. In 1836 436 people lived in Littitsch.
After the abolition of patrimonial Litice formed from 1850 with the district Neujahrsdorf / Nouzov a municipality in the district of Dvůr Králové nad Labem . In the 1920s, the name of the Czech place was changed to Litíč . In 1930 the village had 392 inhabitants, in 1939 there were 352. As a result of the Munich Agreement in 1938, Littitsch became part of the German Empire and until 1945 belonged to the Trautenau district . After the end of the Second World War, the German residents were expelled ; Litíč was assigned to the Okres Jaroměř. After its dissolution in 1961, Litíč came to Okres Náchod and was finally reclassified to Okres Trutnov on October 26, 1971 .
