Libotov (German Liebthal ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located three kilometers south of Dvůr Králové nad Labem and belongs to the Okres Trutnov .
geography
The place is located in the area of the Zvičinský hřbet ridge on the Hřibojedský vrch (425 m). To the north, the ridge drops steeply into the Elbe Valley ; the railway line from Jaroměř to Stará Paka , whose next station is in Dvůr Králové nad Labem , runs along this drop . To the east lies the Nový les forest with the Betlém nature gallery created by Matthias Bernhard Braun .
Neighboring towns are Sylvárov in the north, Žirecká Podstráň in the northeast, Hřibojedy in the southeast, Malé Hřibojedy and Hvězda in the south, Dubenec in the southwest, Velehrádek and Doubravice in the west and Malý Libotov in the northwest.
