history

The first written mention of Hrziboged took place in 1398. The place name gives conclusions about the location of the village in the then significantly larger kingdom forest and means where to eat mushrooms . Procek von Hriebojed is recorded as the owner of the estate in 1440 . In 1539 Adam I. Silber von Silberstein ( Adam Zilwar ) acquired the Hrzibogedy estate and added it to his rule Schurz ( Žireč ). The place was called Siewajeed in dialect . Because of his participation in the Bohemian uprising, the goods were Adam III. Silver from Silberstein confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain on November 15, 1622. Without any imperial knowledge, Hrzibogedy was initially left to the Jesuit order . However, this was revised on the orders of Ferdinand II and Hrzibogedy 1623 sold to Maria Magdalena Trčka von Lobkowitz, the wife of Jan Rudolf Trčka von Lípa . In 1633 she bequeathed her property to her son Adam Erdmann Trčka von Lípa . He died in 1634 together with Albrecht von Waldstein on the night of the murder of Eger. Then Trčka was implicated in an anti-Habsburg conspiracy and his property was confiscated. The Hřibojedy manor was handed over to the Schurz Jesuits in 1652. In 1654 the place was called Sobogedy or Siboged , 1790 as Soboged and 1836 as Siboged . After the Jesuit ban on September 10, 1773, Siboged came to the Imperial and Royal Kameralgüter as part of the Schurz rule. In 1825 Martin and Klara Wagner bought the allodial estate Schurz / Žireč. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subservient to Schurz.

In 1850 formed Sibojed with the hamlet of Lower Sibojed a municipality in the district administration Königinhof . During the German War , the village was mutually in the hands of the Prussians and Austrians. The first village school was set up in 1874 and was taught in one class in German. In 1888 Martin Wagner's son Heinrich sold the goods to the Jermer textile entrepreneur Josef Etrich. The Czech minority founded a local group Národní jednota severočeská in 1930 , which cultivated the culture of the Czech minority in the German-speaking area. In 1930 Sibojed / Hřibojedy had 257 inhabitants. After the Munich Agreement , Sibojed was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Trautenau district until 1945 . In 1939 there were 257 people living in the village. After the end of the Second World War, Hřibojedy came back to Czechoslovakia and was again assigned to the Okres Dvůr Králové nad Labem . In the course of the evacuation of the Germans, Czechs from Semily and Wolhynientschechen were settled in Hřibojedy . After the Okres Dvůr Králové nad Labem was abolished, the municipality became part of the Okres Trutnov in 1961 , and Hvězda was incorporated at the same time.
