Doubravice (German Daubrawitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located four kilometers southwest of Dvůr Králové nad Labem and belongs to the Okres Trutnov .
geography
The place is located in the area of the Zvičinský hřbet ridge and is traversed by the Zátlucký potok . To the northeast, the mountain Záleský vrch (459 m) rises on the slope to the Elbe valley .
Neighboring towns are Bílá Třemešná , Dubinka, Nové Lesy and Zahájí in the north, Rovinky, Lipnice and Zálesí in the northeast, Sylvárov, Malý Libotov and Libotov in the east, Dubenec in the southeast, Velehrádek, Nebesa and Lanžov in the south, Bílé Poličany in the south, Bílé Poličany in the south Zábřezí-Řečice in the west and Chaloupky in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Doubravice comes from the year 1542. In 1625 a meeting of the Bohemian Brothers under Johann Amos Comenius was held in the village .
