The Landestalsperrenverwaltung Sachsen (LTV) is a state enterprise and an authority of the Saxon State Ministry for Environment and Agriculture based in Pirna (founded in 1992). It is divided into the following companies:

Your tasks consist in the operation, management and administration of the dams in the Free State of Saxony for the provision of raw water for the drinking and industrial water supply , for flood protection and for raising low water levels . Furthermore, the state dam administration is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the first order waters and the border waters . The state dam administration was founded in 1992. The administration manages a total of 140 dams and reservoirs with a total storage space of around 550 million m 3 (drinking water: 150 million, service water: 200 million, flood area: 200 million), around 3,000 km of first-order flowing water and border waters with weirs , hydraulic structures and around 650 km of flood protection dikes .

The state dam administration is responsible for the entire state of Saxony.
