List of members of the Lower Austrian state parliament (fifth legislative period)

This list of the members of the Lower Austrian state parliament (5th legislative period) lists all the members of the Lower Austrian state parliament during the fifth legislative period, with the legislative period extending from November 5, 1949 to November 10, 1954. After the state elections in 1949 , 31 of the 56 seats went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), 22 to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) and 3 to the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ). The state parliament elected the state government Steinböck II on November 5, 1949 .

ÖVP politician Hans Sassmann was the first president of the state parliament presidency. The office of the second president of the state parliament was taken over by the SPÖ member Josef Wondrak , the third president of the state parliament was Johann Endl , as in the previous period .
