This list of the members of the Lower Austrian Parliament (XI. Legislative period) lists all members of the Lower Austrian Parliament during the XI. Legislative period, with the legislative period ranging from April 19, 1979 to November 4, 1983. After the regional elections in 1979 , 29 of the 56 seats went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and 27 to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), with the SPÖ winning two seats from the ÖVP compared to 1974. The state parliament elected the state government Maurer IV on April 19, 1979 .
The state parliament presidium was initially chaired by the ÖVP politician Josef Robl as first president. He resigned from his post on April 9, 1981 and was replaced on that day by the previous third state parliament president, Ferdinand Reiter . At the beginning of the legislative period, the second President of the State Parliament was SPÖ MP Franz Binder , who was succeeded by Karl Pospischil on January 28, 1982 . After Ferdinand Reiter was third President of the State Parliament at the beginning of the period and changed to the position of First President on April 9, 1981, Franz Romeder succeeded him on that day .
