The M4 on the Russian trunk road network

The M4 Don ( Russian М4 "Дон" ) is a trunk road in Russia . It leads over the Warschauer Chaussee and then the Kaschiraer Chaussee out of Moscow , then in a southerly direction via Voronezh and Rostov-on-Don to the Black Sea coast between Gelendzhik and Tuapse and then northwest along the coast to Novorossiysk . It is part of the European route 115 between Moscow and Krasnodar .

In preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , the trunk road was expanded into a multi-lane expressway similar to a motorway .
