The Mestaruussarja 1946/47 was the 17th season of the Finnish football championship since its introduction in 1930. It began on July 29, 1946 and ended on June 22, 1947.

Champion of the SPL was Vaasa IFK with a 3-2 win in the play-off against Helsingfors IFK after both teams had 20 points after regular time.

The final was played again between the champions of the Finnish Football Association SPL ( Suomen Palloliitto ) and the Workers' Sports Association TUL ( Suomen Työvänen Urheiluliitto ).
