Michael Bennett, Jr. (born on 13. November 1985 in Avondale , Louisiana is) a former US American football poker players on the position of the defensive ends . He played college football at Texas A&M University and was active in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons . With the Seattle Seahawks , he won in the 2013 season the Super Bowl XLVIII .

His younger brother Martellus Bennett also played as a tight end in the NFL.

NFL

Seattle Seahawks (2009)

Bennett was not selected by any team in the 2009 NFL Draft and was therefore signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks on April 27, 2009. Originally he was supposed to act as the left defensive end , but during the training camp the coaches decided to use him as a defensive tackle . In the preseason he scored nine tackles , two sack , five quarterback - hurries , a blocked pass and conquered fumble what a place in the final 53-man squad earned him the Seahawks. Tampa Bay Buccanneers (2009-2012)
