The 1994–95 NBA season was the National Basketball Association's 49th season . The regular season began on November 4, 1994 and ended on April 23, 1995. This was followed by the NBA playoffs on April 27, 1995, which ended in mid-June with the NBA finals . As in the previous year, the championship was won by the Houston Rockets with a 4-0 in the series against the Orlando Magic . Houston was only 6th in the west after the regular season and thus the worst-placed team that could ever win the title.

On March 19, 1995, Michael Jordan made his first comeback with the Chicago Bulls .

All-Star Game

The 1995 All-Star Game took place in Phoenix . The West's pick won the game 139-112. The game's MVP was Mitch Richmond of the Sacramento Kings .
